Welcome to GRA Perspectives, a blog to help you follow the programs and plans of the Georgia Research Alliance.

To those who may not know us, GRA is a public/private partnership that creates opportunities to build a vibrant economy through scientific discovery.

Our partners are Georgia’s research universities, the corporate community and state government.  Our lead programs are talent recruitment (GRA Eminent Scholars), research infrastructure development (Centers of Research Excellence) and research commercialization (GRA VentureLab).

Over the past 20 years, these programs have brought nearly $2.6 billion new dollars into Georgia’s economy.

Throughout the year, we will spotlight each of these programs and their impact, with an emphasis on the collaborations they spark.

We expect to post to this blog each week. And because we want GRA Perspectives to be interactive, please share your questions and comments.
